I've been creating art since before I can remember. My
mother says I used to paint our picket fence in the buff.
These days I'm usually clothed as I create. The arts that
I'm most enthralled with are paper collage, canvas painting,
altered art, art journaling, assemblage, fiber and fabric
work. I also love to hand-quilt, needle felt and experiment
with metal. On a good day, I can see MAYBE a foot of space
on my studio workbench and I'm in a never-ending
organization battle with my supplies. I'm a collector of all
things vintage or ephemera, I have an unhealthy lace &
ribbon trim obsession and I've never seen a garage sale for
which I didn't stop.
By day, I'm a homeschooling mom of 2 artistic girls. I'm married to a
extremely patient man of 22 years who usually looks the
other way when I avoid cooking & laundry, in favor of art.
We're a very artsy family, preferring to have art supplies
ready at hand in almost every room. One of our daughters is
heading to college to major in Photography/Studio Art and
Graphic Design.
I'm grateful for the opportunity Jackie has given me to work
with her images and products. She has so much variety, I'm
never disappointed.
